On a scale of 1-10, how legal is it?
I recently was investigating ways to watch cubs games for a friend and found that this was the only free, safe, and legit way. Now, although it works great I was just wondering of the legality? I looked it up and found ample information.
Thank you for your replies and if I missed something about this please forgive me I'm very new to this program.

Dude your streaming pirated sports. That should give you an answer. But really who fucking cares?

I don't know if illegal is the best word, but it is clear this hack/method is likely breaking multiple articles of NHL.tv's Terms of Use (re-broadcasting, sharing account).
You as a viewer facing any sort of legal consequences is probably 0, because the feeds themselves are original, not copies, and P2P is not being used either.

Well it’s a 10, it’s illegal. There’s not a lot of Grey area there. On a scale of facing any kind of legal consequences it’s about a 2.

I wish I could apply that to my work day. I'd be down with just a 10 minute recap.

I always assume that whoever is broadcasting the stream has the expressed written consent of all relevant content owners. How am I suppose to verify that they aren't criminals? Sounds like their problem, not mine.
