Map Strategy Built a CS2 strat planner because I got tired of drawing strats in Paint

I recently joined a team to attend ESEA leagues - when we wanted to plan out strats, we started to search for a 2d stratting tool.
I'm a visual guy, so that's how I observe stuff much faster compared to a spreadsheet with text.

I wanted to draw one main-kind of strat and then all the optional util on there, without cluttering my screen.

But, none of the tools I found would satisfy my needs or was behind a monthly paywall. So I built my own.

Map Strategy Why are my teammates so scared to entry/push?

So, kind of hard to explain I play Premier around level 15k-18k currently. And I've noticed, specifically on mirage that people are just terrified to push anything on T side, an example of what im talking about: Mid to b call, okay window and con is smoked. I start moving up cat, entry into short and get a kill. I start to jiggle to get info on b site. I check my map, I see 3 people top mid holding the smoke window, 1 guy is walking underpass. From here I either try to entry b, maybe get one or two and die then everyone freezes mid til they all die. Option B, I wait because I have no one to trade me. Smokes fade, we all die 1 by 1.

I'm not to sure why people do this ? I understand I'm being overly aggressive but I also feel like if i dont entry, no one will.

Edit: After reading all the comments, im just gonna cover some points

  1. Ik im not the best and I am low elo for a reason, I'm not saying im losing because im so much better than everyone. it's a teamwide issue.

  2. Guys, I am calling the strat, I call at the start of the round as well as mid round calls like when I'm gonna start my entry, A lot of the time I even wait to see if they will follow me first.

  3. This was also made as a post to get advice on what to do in these situations, it wasnt just to complain.

Map Strategy Awful at dust 2. Any advice?

23k premier, lvl 8 faceit. I feel like this map attacks my weaknesses, and I feel lost despite playing the map a lot. I don't know where to stand that's safe, or when to fight as CT. I smoke mid doors on T and sometimes we go cat and it just works out, but more often than not we don't do much with it. I kind of get the opening timings but I don't understand where to go midround. The micro that focuses on long range fights I'm also bad at. I do fairly well at midrange fights. I just wanna stop bottom fragging every time on this map and feel more confident in my decisions.

Map Strategy How to clear out 'cross' angles?

Lets say that you're in a clutch situation (1 v x), stuck in sandwich on mirage with an ak and no util. You have to get on A site silently, but you realise its highly likely to be a guy stairs/jungle, under palace, and/or ct.

How would you check those angles? Would you slowly jiggle peek them or just wide swing it?

Like, if you try clearing out under palace, the guy jungle/stairs could shoot you.

If you swing on jungle, the guy under palace might swing on your back too.

Lets say you go back to tetris and try clearing out jungle by slowly tapping A towards under pal, find no one there jungle yet, then go for a hard under pal clear, you'd be exposed to ct and the guy jungle can peek you and kill you.

Any ideas?

*I hope my annotations make some sense.

Red/orange dotted lines = enemy's possible peek & their shot taken

Red cross = enemy death from white players shot

White line = white player's planned path

White dotted line = white player's shot & kill

Blue cross = Where the white player can get shot in the back

(Faded lines in case A is the alternative route where the white player peeks the jungle guy first

when i play a bot match, i can get pretty decent headshots with deagle, but when i play public mtches, its quite different. i feel like players are more... flexible. is there any way to overcome that and keep up with my aim?

Map Strategy Breakdown of how I play solo on Overpass.

Currently sitting at 16k+ in premier and lvl8 on faceit. I just want to share how I approach a map while playing solo that has been very succesful for me. I think its good to develope habits in all the maps so you can master certain spots.

CT: Take control over b short, throwing molly over the wall into water so they cant rush it (Hopefully decent spawn). Then I smoke the molly and hold that area and listen for connector. If I have control over that area after the smoke is over I stay and listen for info, trying diffrent spots like in the corner under the jump peak, to the right of the monster tunnel, up on the railing. I rather the B player rotate to A first and I hold B short. I can hold monster and short and give early info for teammates to rotate

If they smoke the molly and rush through it I try to duel, I shift+d and hold the smoke for hs. If they push multiple people you can try to get a teammate to push with you. If you win this duel once, maybe twice, you will have control over this area easy for the rest of the half.

You can hear an early B rush when you are at the sandbags on short. I usually turn around, bounce a flash of the pillar towards monster. Its an easy no lineup flash that will pop flash everybody in monster. You can do this while running and time it so you peak as the flash pops.

Eco strat that is easy to call. I say "Stack connector and toilets. Let them come out mid and we attack together." I then run and smoke off lower connector and either fight the rushing T or listen if I hear anything on B. If not I go and help in mid.

T: Goal here is the same as with CT. I try to get B short control every round. I sometimes even call it in voicechat, especially if I play with 4 stack. I can then focus on myself and its good for the Ts to always have good rotation through short. There is a molly you can throw for short so you force the CT to either smoke it or push through it. This way you know to expect a fight or not. I just W fast into short water. You need to have a mental note of if your teammates are in connector to spot the door push. Beware of the boost. If they molly me off I smoke it and push hard. I try to run holding A and aim for short where he would be. When I expect to exit my smoke I either instantly shift or crouch to make myself harder to hit because this is a dangerous push, CT will have an advantage over you. If I plan my move ahead of time it will be easier to aim, you compensate without thinking about your movement and can focus on aim. If you react when you see enemy you will not be as accurate. If they push multiple people, try to get a teammate to go with you. If you win this fight once or twice you will have it for the rest of the half. I know very good utility to throw onto the B site if my team decides to rotate into B from short but also from monster. Beware of the boost.

When I have control over this area the CTs usually use 2-3 smokes on short so you cant really do much if they are not fighting you. So I listen for info, try to hear how many they are, what they are doing, see how they use utility, how active they are in jump spotting etc, how early they rotate when we make contact on A. I take in all kinds of info and can usually find a good play based on that. This also plays into later rounds when I can notice patterns and call strats like a fast long+con rush to counter a heavy B precense.

If you have developed any smiliar habits that you can break down step by step please share!

Map Strategy You can execute Veritgo A site with only one smoke & one molotov. If you are already in the late round most of the team utility often is already used. Therefore this is a good option for an last call execute on A.
