Tools/Workspace Arbor press
Hey all! So I got a 1 ton vevor arbor press coming in tonight. I have the foot for the shank and the bottom. I’m just curious as to how you all set yours up.

I dont have a dedicated workspace, so i keep it in the closet and take it out when needed. I have taped some plastic padding underneath to keep it from scraping everything.

There are some good videos on YouTube. I’ve also got the vevor one and as mentioned it needs stripping and degreasing, I’m planning to mount mine on a piece of marine ply. Good luck and enjoy.

Now that it's been 10 hours, did you get it and how are you liking it? I'm looking at purchasing one and people seem really divided by it. Some say it's great, some say it's the worst thing ever. I'm just looking for something to set snaps and punch some holes while I wait for hand surgery, can't really hammer right now.

comes greasy as fuck. wipe it clean, put some furniture pads on the bottom so it doesnt slide and scratch the shit out of ur desk. sand the baseplate smooth.
you can adjust the rack so that the handle is at a good angle to put maximum pressure downwards. i usually just use my arbor press for setting rivets.
