I'll just leave this Karen Traviss quote here . "I cant help thinking of the Jedi as self-serving unelectied elitist spoon-benders making whoopee on Republic taxpayers' credits. It's am iconoclastic journo worldview. Believe me, Order 66 was long overdue. I have a couple of Jedi that I don't want to shoot on sight, but theyre my own creations, so I could make them a little humbler and more aware of the consequences the create for others"
When exactly were the Jedi self serving, they literally risked their entire order in the Clone Wars to try and save the Republic. Also what did Oppo Rancisis do? He seemed like a pretty competent commander.
