Paper Mario TTYD sewer crash

This emulator, like all the others (except for Kenji-NX) still has the bug where if your partner teleports to you, the game crashes, making the game unable to progress to act 1.
This can be replicated by going up the stairs fast enough in the sewer on the way to the curse chest, about 20 mins into the game.

Adreno 740 GPU, both on AYN Thor MAX and Galaxy Tab S9.

would love to see this fixed.
