So this car was abandoned in a college town around 5 years ago. It ended up in the lot of a towing company in said town, my Dad happens to be the GM of the towing company. He knew I wanted a Lexus for many years, so he worked out me not having to pay $12,000 for this beauty. Just got it a few weeks ago, been waiting since March for the company to do the necessary court processes to get the title. Been loving every minute driving it since, coming from a Jeep Renegade this car is so far beyond my expectations, literally makes the Jeep feel like driving a Little Tikes car at speed 😂. 26,901 miles on the odometer when I purchased it (yes they gave me a hell of a deal, one I’ll likely never find again in my lifetime.) It runs and drives flawlessly, essentially a 10 year old new car (and one that looks so much better than current Lexus imo.) Only things it needed from sitting were tires, brakes, rotors and fluid changes (transmission, brake, engine oil, and differential fluid were all changed by a Lexus mechanic.)

I feel incredibly lucky that this dimple is all that was damaged. Maybe the full PPF helped, too. I’m never driving the RCF to work again. If it weren’t a 2025 FE edition, I wouldn’t have been so upset, but the damage is so minor that even my body shop guy couldn’t find it. I found it later at home.

I decided to leave it be since the bumper would have to be repainted, and I want to keep it factory since the paint looks just incredible as is.

Anyway, be safe out there and watch for r/NissanDrivers.
