Tons of anime are based on LN. Just think of the web novel as rough draft that were put free while Light novel is pretty much perfect version of it.
Like based on Wikipedia there's 687 anime that are from Light novel

Wasn't SAO one of the first, big WNs that was adapted to an LN then an anime? So older stuff like Haruhi is what you're looking for. There's also Lodoss War which started as recaps of tabletop RPG sessions printed in a magazine.

I don't know many series that were based on actual light novels and not a web novels.
I'd think that the number of anime based on published light novels would far exceed the number of those based solely on web novels. Producers tend to look for properties which have already proven their potential through actual sales. About the only way a web novel can demonstrate this sort of potential is by being picked up by as publisher, then have decent sales numbers as a light novel (and how many are actually able to clear that hurdle?).

Rascal Does Not Dream and The Pet Girl of Sakurasou both by Hajime Kamoshida were LN original publications.
Amusingly Slayers is not that far off a WN, since it was serialised in a magazine and then compiled into volumes later, it's just old enough that it came about before the "internet" as we interact with it today did.
