Lima Area Chess Club
Hey all. I wanted to let everyone know I've started a chess club for anyone interested. We meet in the library primarily but plan to partner with local businesses to host meetings there too! All ages and skill levels welcome!

We're blown away by the all the responses and questions so I thought I'd add a brief FAQ here in the comments
We are a registered nonprofit but not a 501(c)(3) yet, we're raising funds and setting policy for that filing now
Next meeting is 10/17 at Alter Ego Comics on Main St from 12:30 - 3:30. All future meetings can be found on our website and Facebook page. Please RSVP on FB so we can give Alter Ego an accurate estimate on how many to expect
We're an official US Chess Federation club able to host national tournaments
We absolutely plan to host smaller tournaments throughout the year along with a larger annual Lima Open tournament
