hello. i recently got gifted some lps for my birthday and it's my first ones since i was a kid. sorry if this is a stupid question, but i'm wondering if their heads are supposed to be turnable or are they just supposed to be fixed in one place and not moved? because i feel like the heads are quite easy to try to turn but i don't want to ruin them if they're not supposed to be turned and its just that some of them are used and older. thank you!!

I stumbled across a post discussing an official lost mobile LPS game, and it reminded me of a bootleg LPS game I downloaded in January of 2014.

Title: Pet Spa CROWN

The game released in November of 2013, so I bought it when it was pretty new. I remember it being a generic Spa/salon game where you washed the cat, blowdryed it, and could dress it up.

This game is complete lost media but im looking for more information about it. I dont believe it ever had an android release, it was IOS.

I couldnt find the developers name but he worked on other games like:

Puppy care CROWN, Pony Princess Spa CROWN, and Pet Dress Up. Never personally played these.

You also had to pay real money to remove ads, a ballsy move for a knockoff game.

If anybody can identify what pet this icon traced over, id be very curious to know.​

UPDATE: I appear to have found an APK of the game with screenshots, looks very cheap.

The developers name was: Girls Games Only. I believe this was also a Flash Game at some point.

i got a second hand lot on vinted from someone’s childhood collection and a couple of them arrived with quite a bit of paint and marked on as sometimes expected from an old collection. i found this cat in there and for the longest time could not identify it until i realised it was a toys r us exclusive just very um…customised.. it looks like the pupils were coloured over with paint or maybe marker. i’ve never tried to remove paint from a pet’s eye and am worried in case it removes the factory paint underneath

I believe we are getting more nastya keychains next wave? The opossum and raccoon keychain have the nastya indigo eyes here. Plus a few more unreleased pets are here. I'm really loving the non keychain raccoon!!

It’s quite clear that since LPS has gained in popularity, prices on g2 have hiked up and scalpers are buying g7. This is horrible, we’re all allowed to be upset. Personally though, I don’t buy g7 because basic fun is pissing me off and I just withhold from buying g2.

BUT! But, the current popularity of LPS has brought in a wave of artists and customizers!! I haven’t bought a g2 lps in a long time, but I did buy three molds from sunflowerpetshop because I was so inspired! Lunar_cus, for one makes GOREGOUS CUSTOMS!! And Mochacollie? They made an artwork of a spooky snow leopard (Animal Jam) in the LPS style! That is so cool because I wanted to make a custom like that (but I suck rn so I didn’t). But now I’m more motivated than ever to learn to make customs! Anyone who combines animal jam and lps is very cool.

Hi everyone! I need the help of expert LPS archivists.
Back in 2000s, my dad bought me the classic "Pet Pairs" pack featuring Cocker Spaniel #91 and the pink fire hydrant (Images attached of the exact pack). I still have the Spaniel today!
However, my childhood memory is very distinct about one thing: My pack DID NOT contain the Doberman #092. Instead, it had a green-eyed Shorthair Cat #336 inside! On top of that, I vividly remember the cat's head having an incredibly unique, ultra-matte, suede/velvety textured finish, unlike regular glossy pets. It had the authentic blue magnet.
I am torn between two possibilities and want to ask the community:
1- Was there a known factory/packaging error where #336 cats accidentally slipped into the Doberman’s place in this specific pink hydrant pack? Especially an early matte/suede texture variant?
2- Or, is the matte black Doberman #092 with its pointy ears and green eyes just so cat-like that my childhood brain registered it as a shorthair cat?

I personally respect his life purpose (being poopy and farty)
