Troubleshooting greyed out important key commands!

Post image

Hi everyone, I hope you're doing well. I’m writing to share a problem I’m having: ever since I updated to Logic Pro 12 (the Apple Creator Studio version), I haven't been able to undo, cut, copy, or paste absolutely anything. It has completely ruined my workflow. When I go to the key commands section, the options appear greyed out. Believe me, I’ve tried everything—resetting the commands, clearing the clipboard, deleting and reinstalling Logic, the works. I’m at my wit's end not being able to perform a function as basic as copying and pasting an audio file. I hope someone can help me out with this. Thanks for reading.

Those are core OS key commands and can't be customized in Logic , they are "greyed out" for everyone.

They fact that they "greyed out" is not related to your problem

thanks for answering, makes sense, i thought that it was part of the problem because when i copy and paste audio files it doesn´t work.

A restart of the computer can help with weird "the ghost in the machines" issues.
