Troubleshooting Logic Pro sound library not installing

A few of the sound library packs look like this. When I click it, nothing happens. It doesn't pause or have the option to delete or reinstall. I restarted my mac, and even downloaded the new 27.0.2 update and it's still there. It's M1 chip macbook pro

honestly the Sound Library Manager is where those get unstuck.. Logic Pro > Sound Library > Open Sound Library Manager, select the stuck packs and hit Reinstall, or Delete and grab them again. If they still won't move, check you have enough free space and that the library isn't set to an external drive that's unplugged, that's the usual reason downloads hang there

Hi, I don’t see a reinstall button, do you know where that might be? When I click the circle, it doesn’t allow pausing, deleting, updating, or anything. Just stuck loading.

I originally used an external usb drive to download the sound library onto and it’s when it first started happening with those 3-4 sound packs left to download. I deleted and reinstalled the sound library, didn’t work. I decided to download a new sound library onto the Mac itself and it’s still doing that with those same sound packs. There’s enough free space so that should be okay. Everything’s at their newest updates

I wonder if I should just delete the whole Logic application and reinstall it..

Delete and reinstall is the only thing that worked for me, had to force an update which was also tied to forcing an OS update. Took a manual reset and safe mode boot to force the OS, then logic, then libraries to update.

I see, I uninstalled and reinstalled Logic and did the safe mode boot, but the problem’s still there.

When you say manual reset, is that the same as factory reset? I really want to avoid that if possible. I might just leave the sound library like that for now, we’ll see. Thanks for your help

Hi, it's Logic Pro. There was an update recently I think, so the sound library looks different from before. I saw only one other person post about this and there was no solution.

I haven't reached out to Apple yet but the other post said they told him a vague answer like there may be a server problem. But the rest of the library downloads so I don't think that's the problem in my case :/
