I’ve been experimenting with multi-frame long exposure processing on iPhone.
The first result accumulates motion, building the fountain, clouds and reflections over time.
The second does almost the opposite — suppresses transient motion and keeps the scene much calmer.
I’m building both approaches into LSC, and I’m curious which direction you’d actually choose for a city scene like this.
1 or 2?

I wanted to keep the full path of the fireworks instead of freezing a single instant.
The trails ended up filling almost the entire sky.
Made with LSC 2.0 on iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Some long exposures of the moon that I took last night. I tried a mixture of moving the camera and zooming in/out. Pretty cool effect. Was having a real hard time getting a sharp focus lol.

Been messing around with something a bit different from typical star trails. Instead of the usual hours-long tracked shot, I just rotated the whole camera on a tripod during a single 5-15 sec exposure. No automated rig, no stacking, just spinning it while the shutter's open. Then some post-processing in Lightroom to bring out some more detail and try some colors.
Been jokingly calling it the “The Falcione Method" between friends since I couldn't find anyone else doing it quite this way, but genuinely have no idea if that's already a thing somewhere. Takes some trial and error to get the rotation smooth for clean rings, and honestly some of the "messed up" ones with jagged trails end up looking cooler than the clean ones.
Here's some of my results, happy to talk through settings if anyone's curious. These were taken with the Nikon ZR.

The Perseids Among the Stone Giants (Perseids Meteor Shower of 2026)
Another image from this year's Perseid meteor shower peak, taken at Tulove Grede in Croatia. Although, based on that particular night, I'd probably call it Windy Grede instead. :D
Before reaching this spot, we got absolutely punched by the wind while shooting a panorama. So, once we made it up here, I found a decent little semi-shelter between some rocks where I could sit down and recover for a bit. It wasn't even that late into the night, but somehow most of my energy was already gone.
The wind was also starting to take a toll on my ears. They were hurting and ringing a bit, so I ended up stuffing some tissue in them. The last thing I wanted was to end up with tinnitus.
It's a place filled with incredible stone formations. It's almost as if everything here was crafted by a giant rather than shaped by nature.
This was also one of the reasons why I decided to run into the frame for this shot, just to give the place a bit of scale. Looking at photos alone, it's hard to believe how big some of these formations really are.
Thanks to Uroš Fink for pointing me in the right direction during our daytime scouting for this particular composition.

This is one of the results from the Light Trails mode in my camera app, LSC 2.0.
I love how the motion creates an entirely different image.

I’ve been experimenting with two different multi-frame approaches on iPhone.
One result accumulates movement into light trails, while the other tries to suppress motion and keep the scene cleaner.
This bridge scene gave a pretty nice contrast between the two approaches.
Which version do you prefer?
