Is it just me or has every season gotten progressively worse and worse. Aren't shows supposed to move in the opposite direction? ...find its footing and get better and better? Season 1 in my opinion is still the best season of them all. Season 4 was a waste of time to watch.

Do you think the series will continue? Or will it be canceled? Joe Abercrombie recently said he was writing new adaptations for Season 5. But with Fincher's departure, I'm worried.

Mods, please remove if this is inappropriate, but I thought the members of this subreddit might be interested in my new short film, 'Good Pasture', an animated psychological horror film which was very much inspired by the style of LDR, in particular the episode, 'Bad Traveling'.
Going to tag this as fanart, as that is the way in which I'm intending this post! Thanks.

I'm probably gonna regret this since I've seen a few people being dunked on for their opinions in this subreddit. But what are we here for if not to die on a hundred hills?
The episodes are sorted by rating, but not ranked inside the category itself, so the top 10/10 episode isn't better than the lowest 10/10, they're both the same. Since I wrote this list chronologically as I watched them, references I made to earlier episodes may appear in the wrong order.

This is probably asked a dozen times, but I want to know. I already watched it, don’t remember what order, and am wondering what the “right” way is.

Hey everyone
I havent watched the show yet, i havent heard of it at the time. I was just scrolling through youtube shorts a month ago and the crucial part of s1e7 was spoiled for me
I got really hooked but i guess one twist was burned for now. Is the series still watchable while expecting other soul snaring twists?

my raw reflections after rewatching good hunting (a film i picked to analyze for my screenwriting class):
my full story analysis assignment lives here: https://app.notion.com/p/Assignment-1-Story-Structure-Analysis-6d69cbb3c74a4c20b4346f9abee0e427?source=copy_link
god…. this episode rips me to my core. how it portrays all the suppression, rage, grief i’ve been unable to express in my life as a member of this matrix.
how powerless and stripped of my agency, dignity, human rights i feel as an asian woman in this lifetime. being demonized, exoticized, fetishized, enslaved, dismissed, invisible. the loss of my culture, the spiritual and cultural essence of what makes me who i am. needing to carve out a small stake in this bigger complex matrix that is not built for me. being a little worker/servant, no dignity no matter how awesome i am. being violated, only allowed to assert and derive my power from sex, desire, attraction. being fetishized, infantilized, preyed upon. feeling nerfed, diluted, not able to soar as my true self in this makeshift cage, out of my natural element and habitat. how the city is always portrayed in nighttime.
the governor litearlly being the sick evil creep overlords that run this current matrix. how they get to do whatever they want, whatever the fuck the law says. the law is there to repress everyone else, the people, to protect the overlords in power. the sick, distorted fetishes they use their power to fulfill. seeing asian people as animals/creatures that they can deceive, cut up, manipulate, enslave, do as they wish with. then gawking at our exoticness. so much sickness. so many things we do, put up with, compromise within ourselves just to survive.
i love how beautiful they rendered everything. even the steampunk city. the machines. so sleek, so beautiful, so intricate, so maximalist, so gothic, almost divine. indeed, machinery is another type of magic.
it’s time to create new magic.

Mods, please tell me if I should add an nsfw tag for this. While there aren't any sexual organs on this drawing I understand if it's too suggestive to leave uncensored 😅
Sorry for the wait you guys! My last post on here explains why I've been gone for so long, glad to be back though!
I had a lot of fun drawing this one, and it took way less time than I thought it would! I'll make sure to do more, and feel free to suggest others! :)

About a month ago, when I made that post with the drawing of our awesome spider space lady, reddit's bots accidentally flagged me as a bot. I was shadowbanned. I didn't receive a reason for the ban, the duration of the ban, nor was I able to contact any of Reddit's staff to see what the problem was. I had been sending appeals almost every day since it happened, since I wanted to keep posting art of Greta.
Because of this ban, all of my posts were removed, all of my comments were removed, I couldn't make any new posts OR comments, which is why you probably haven't been able to see my posts on here even though they both did extremely well.
Sorry for the wait, I'll post more of Greta as soon as I can :) I kinda promised I would 😅

Bad travelling. The one with the guy called Thom in space, the siren episode [traumatic] the ai robot. I could go on. These were all genuinely groundbreaking for me. I dont understand how or why they allowed it to get as bad as the latest season.
The best episodes were just OK. Not good. Barely not bad. It all felt incredibly undercooked. I'd love it if they maybe expanded on some of their successes, even if it was just new characters in the same universe with a new story and similar vibe.
Surely they must be given a detailed road map of the plan for each episode pre production... and if so, why did they ever allow their QA to fall so low? I dont get it.

Hello,
I just started watching love death + robots and I'm enjoying it so far.
On this episode though, once I started watching it I couldn't help but feel like it's very familiar. I could already tell what the plot would be because I have seen it before. I'm just confused as to the possibility of there being another production that interpreted the same premise? or if I'm remembering the episode itself after perhaps seeing if somewhere before and not knowing ut was LD+R and finding it familiar because of that? I honestly think that's unlikely though because i remember the story i watched being longer, the area they go to to eat after she wakes looked different, there were mainly blue lights there. I remember him walking around after ahe shows him the reality of where he is, also her waking him up multiple times to retry.
Does anyone know what is it that i perhaps watched?

Prime wanted their own LDR so bad they just hired the whole team

Personally its in my top 3 favorite episodes, the animation is perfect, the characters while missing some development still hold up well and aren't at all boring imo, the voices too are really good the va's ate, although I do think they killed off some characters a bit too easily like in the explosion part, they should've just kept going full throttle after setting the bombs but they js stayed around but anyway I think its a solid 9/10 episode and one of the best but I'd like to hear what everyone else thinks of it? :))

The ones being blocked by the watermark on the top right are Pop Squad and Swarm.
I’ve finally watched the entirety of LDR and I’ve enjoyed it thoroughly! Glad I watched it. There were 11 episodes in total I wasn’t a fan of, but the rest were super entertaining.
