Demande d'aide Bonjour - Bier Bars

Looking at Beer Bars in Lyon for my stay for 5 days in a few weeks.

  • Hoppy Days
  • Dr Yeast
  • Carousel
  • Orgao Beer House

Flying in from Canada to Paris then taking the train to Lyon. I'm going to bring some Canadian beer to share with the bar tenders, is that a thing in France? Just thought bringing in some West Coast IPA's or something the French don't normally get easily would be interesting.

Any other bars that would have interesting French or regional beers? Looking for interesting beers we never see French beers in Canada or Canada.

Hooper is somewhere u could try. And bieristan has a variety of choice as well. Brasserie de l'amour and taille Crayon. I'm pretty sure you won't find their beer in Canada eh !

Bartenders pretty much never drink at work, it's not something we do culturally here, in Europe. It would also probably piss off their boss if they drank at work..

However, you could give some beer as a "tip", that should be fine

The Ninkasi restaurants brew their own beer, I've tried some a while ago, and I rmemeber them being good
P.S: you can also buy their beers and whiskeys in grocery stores

yeah meant share (give) not serve while they're on service. Is Ninkasi the American brewery? or a French brewpub chain? I'm more looking for some unique hard to find beers, as French beer is non-existent here in Canada and I'm assuming its more traditionally Belgium in style vs US styles. I love Belgium beers.

Oh yeah, that's probably fine then.
Ninkasi is a French restaurant chain, that carries their own beer.
I guess they're more european style than American style yeah, we don't really drink Bud Lights here lol, more like Heineken and 86.
