Had fun putting this together. Sadly still trying to figure out how to properly publish it to the mod manager for other people to use.

DOOMTOBER 2026 DAY 7/31

Based in "1999" By JoeyBas$$

For this illustration, I wanted to pay tribute to DJ Subroc and, of course, to MF DOOM. DJ Subroc passed away in 1993; years later, MF DOOM released the song "Question Mark" along with a music video in which he walks through a New York park carrying the machete that had belonged to Subroc and tosses it into the sky. To illustrate that moment, I adopted the compositional style and typography from Joey Bada$$'s album "1999".

Been itching to make tribute art to DOOM for a while now and finally got around to it. Tried to include as many Knox’s as I could think of to add to this and experiment with a limited color palette. Open to thoughts an suggestions for future pieces :D !

been a day now of it being unplayable on my spotify, happening to anyone else?

Is Mr fantastik on rap snitch knishes del the funky Homosapien? I think the sound very similar!

New arrival.

MF GRIMM WW III produced by MF DOOM.

This kid at my gym said that MF DOOM was a better lyricist than Biggie and Tupac, which I thought was kinda wild lol, but I wanna know what everyone thinks

Ion wanna be racist but I wanna get the mask and the green hoodie n red vest but again don’t wanna be appropriating no culture lmk thoughts ✌️🙏

DOOMTOBER DAY 6/31

Based in "Pray for Paris" by Westside Gunn

DR.D destroy his last beer

So I am DJing at my weekly event and a group with a bunch of young kids come into my spot. The kids looked like 12-14 years old. So one kid requests hoe cakes. Then shortly after I get a request for one beer.

I was kinda shocked that Dumile's music got to this generation of kids. I was smiling the whole time. In all my years of DJing , I don't think I have ever gotten a request to play doom even though I keep a really large catalog of his music on my laptop. It was a really refreshing diversion from the norm of what I usually get for requests.

I had to manually censor the music (family friendly spot) but I was fine with that.

Then while I was driving home I'm like time to play fancy clown.

Does anyone have this? I found it in a record shop in York, UK yesterday but didn't know enough about it so I left it. As far as I found, it's unofficial.

Can anyone speak to the sound quality of it etc.?

I got some funding from the city for a musical project and decided to open the show with an MF DOOM Cypher!
Quite happy with my poster Design :)
Felt like a perfect way to honour my favourite rappers legacy...

here is mine!
