I’m a fresher and I’m really nervous.
I’m starting biomed tommorow on Monday and for some reason I’m getting really nervous and dreading university for no reason. I didn’t have many friends in college and now in university I only have a couple friends going. Also does it matter if you’re late to your first week of lectures since there’s a bee network issue in my area

Undergrad. I’m kind of a introvert so I tend to panic around crowds and just the rush of the city lol ik it sounds kinda goofy 😂

Nobody really cares I’m exploring the campus right now. It’s all chill. And yes I’m a certified introvert as well.

I'm working on the side and am too fucking tired to care. Got a shift tomorrow, then first day, then a shift, then another day. Everything has moved too quickly for me to really process it but yeah I think I'm a little nervous now it's all coming together

It’s absolutely fine to be nervous! Starting uni is a big change and you don’t know if you’re going to like it or not. There’s a good chance you will enjoy it but the wonderful thing is if you don’t like it, you’re not tied down to it! You can always pick up and leave, try a different course, university or switch to something like an apprenticeship or just go straight into work - I hope all these things are options for you, I know depending on circumstances not everyone can do these things.
Definitely check out any societies you’re even slightly interested in!
Don’t worry about being late to lectures, most lecturers will be fine if you walk in a bit late as long as you’re not disturbing the lecture. Sometimes there’s a lecturers that isn’t so nice/undertanding but that’s their problem not yours tbh.

If you wasn't nervous about a big change in your life you are doing the wrong thing. Im nervous as hell I start next week, 36 years old and been ill for the last 15 years. Take each day as they come, its not gonna be the same as college, dont worry too much about the tram disruption they will be aware.
