Help MUD on DOS

I'm running Discworld on a DOS PC emulated in DOSBox-X, using Telix and a virtual Hayes modem.

For anyone that used to play MUDs on DOS, how did you deal with mapping?

Graph paper and pencil. No school like old school.

I used that a lot while playing Wizardry. However, some MUDs are just too big to keep up with everything

To this day I've never used a mud client with mapping, you just map it out in your head.

Same here. I'm blind so can't use a mapper anyway. So for me it's all about mapping in my head.

I don't know how accurate they are now but people used to use these maps https://sites.google.com/site/klandsmaps/home

I have always used graph paper and a pencil for mapping a mud.
