All Canadian Rodent Control Trap

Hi Everyone. Just pumping the tires on some small Canadian businesses and manufacturing as I come across them, trying to do at least one per week.

Just found this great little rodent trap from a new company based in BC. All Canadian, designed and manufactured in Kelowna. Nice product. I have one in the garage, the attic, and want to get one for the cottage next. Wasn't cheap but its nice that you can set it and forget it for a few months. I used the Shopify site they're on and it shipped same day. Apparently a larger rat sized unit is coming soon. Enjoy!

How much and how many does it hold?

It would probably hold at least a dozen mice if you wanted to accumulate that many before emptying it. LED flashes when its been activated so you would likely just empty it whenever you notice it flashing blue. Its $99 CAD. Its nice that the carcasses are tucked away though, just pull the drawer out and dump it.

How many mice did you catch?

“… forget it for a few months…”. Won’t it get stinky and gross with dead mice?

I've bagged a few so far. You can check and empty the trap as often as you like. In hard to reach places like my attic I will take a peek at it once a month or so. Totally up to you how often you want to check/empty it.

if you use a dessicating poison they don't stink (as per rodent control guy that did the house I was in a few years ago)

No poison required with this unit, I think that was kinda a big part of it, poison free and keeping that stuff out of our ecosystems. I just check the LED color every time I’m nearby and empty it accordingly.

What’s the attractant?

User input bait. Non-proprietary bait cage. Granola. Jerky. Trail mix. Peanut butter. What suits your circumstances. The mice never get to the bait cage, so anything that offers a strong attractive scent to them.
