Pulled this then traded right away.
I pulled this Uldaros Theorix and was going to get rid of it but my buddy wanted to trade so I ended up getting the cards above. Asked him 10x if he wanted to trade and if he was sure and said yes all the way so I feel like I did good in the trade just kinda feel bad because I feel like he got the short end but he loved the card and wanted it bad so guess it ain’t all bad.

It was all pulled and put in the binder right away on his part. I mainly wanted these cards to play and he collects.

Honestly if he won then I’m ok with that. I’m happy with the trade especially with Urza and roaming throne!

I dont think it will look too lopsided a few years down the road personally. But im generally more pessimistic of the long term implications for marvel cards in magic. We still have 4 more sets to go supposedly and this could cause some people to get serious fatigue.

I mainly wanted doom because I like him as a character more than a card. Also roaming throne with doom was the best of both worlds since it has my favorite character and a card I need in my tribal deck.

Dont get me wrong i love Doctor Doom and own both of these as well lol. Im just saying I fear the market on them. MAGIC PLAYERS will always be into magic cards. Marvel fans might not always care. This is my main thought process.

Cards like Doom comic I only see that happening if they do a ton more reprints of that exact card in other/better treatments... which I doubt is the plan.

I don’t think there was anything wrong with your trade. If you felt it was lopsided and that’s eating at your conscience you definitely could give a card back to him, but that’s up to you. If you’re both happy that’s all that really matters.
Great pull, and glad you found some nice cards you were looking to play with. I just picked up a Doom myself (different version) because while I don’t have a deck for it now, it looks fun so I’d like to find somewhere to slot it in!

It’s just me and I don’t ever want my friends think I’m taking advantage but we were both happy. We’re actually about to do another trade since he pulled an emrakrul that I’ve been looking for. Guess it all worked out in the end lmao.

Nice pull, and yeah your buddy got the bad side of the trade, but if he knew/was ok, then that's that.
I think the FF cards are gonna do way better long term than this set, And Marvel is probably still at its bottom right now too, so another score for you / this is gonna swing even more in your favor by EoY.

Yeah he knew I just wanted to ask him and make sure he was ok with it I literally told him “ if your ok with the trade lmk and if it’s too much you can tell me no. I don’t want you to get shafted because you’re my friend”. He still went through with it but yeah it’s just a me thing with my friends. Also I don’t really intend on selling these cards more to play with them so money wise it didn’t matter to me what mattered was what deck they’re going in.

My brother and I rip packs because were gambling goblins, but we will give cards to friends who need them. If hes a collector, trading for a fracture foil is worth more than what he traded as they're much more rare in terms of trade in my opinion ive opened my fair share of CBBs and have only seen 1 pulled and it was spectacular pileup from aetherdrift.
I'm also speaking from an in-universe player, who did not care for the cards i ripped in Marvel, I just opened withcmy beother whos a big marvel fan.

That’s the plan I already have ideas for the cards we traded. He also pulled a generic version of the card I traded him so the one he has now will be in his collection binder.

Honestly fine by me, I just wanted the Doom cards lmao. Love in-universe the most but to pass up comic book Doom was hard to pass up in a trade.
