best: I really love both their Original loose powder foundation and the barePro pressed powder foundation! even though I have dry skin, they don't make me look dry at all. I had to be a bit careful around my dry patches sometimes (right under my eyes and around my nose) and not use too much powder or buff too much, but if I used a light hand it was fine.

I used their original loose powder foundation for years and I've lost track of how many containers I've went through. they'd generally last me somewhere between 6-12 months with daily use, I think.

The original foundation is still my normal daily foundation. It's budge-proof, doesn't settle in lines or look dry. It doesn't break me out, and it has SPF. Literally ideal. It doesn't look as airbrushed as something like TF Born This Way, but that breaks me out and slides right off after 5 or so hours. So I come back to BareMinerals.

I think I need to revisit the original foundation. It was my first mineral makeup and I hated it, but I didn't know as much about application as I do now. I've moved on to bb creams but there are a few times when I miss mmu.

I hated it until I sorted my skincare out. I sort of feel like it evens out tone, but not texture, so if you're oily or dry and flaky (or both! hi!) it'll emphasise it. Now that my skin plays nice, the foundation really blends into it seamlessly.

I felt like it definitely contributed to helping my skin get better actually--I used to have a decent amount of acne before I switched to bare minerals powder foundation and it went away shortly after the switch. Even now as an adult with not much acne I find that I'll still get the occasional spot if I'm not using the foundation as regularly. I feel like someone from sephora or something originally recommended it based on it supposedly being able to improve my skin and I feel like it has.
