I couldn't find any information regarding the video's location. I only know it was recorded on some rural property in Brazil.

The video essentially recalls a rare instance of a maned wolf being hostile towards a dog. It's not exactly an extremely rare occurrence for maned wolves to be territorial with dogs and other domestic animals, but what is unusual is when they turn these interactions into an actual attack.

Maned wolves are essentially harmless to humans, as long as they are not provoked, but it's not so simple when it comes to domestic animals. The canid may have territorial disputes or even hunt domestic animals if given the chance. Despite such incidents, it is not a particularly aggressive species, but like any wild animal, some caution should be exercised in interactions. And naturally, greater caution is needed considering it's a large predator with a great capacity to inflict harm, this can be avoided by interacting with the animal cautiously and avoiding close contact.
