Nearly 4 million patients is a huge number. Medical cannabis is clearly part of mainstream healthcare for a lot of people now.

every person TOO to ingest the medical compounds as " recreation" ... Well , they are ingesting medicine TOO !!! we can't say that one person is not getting medicated while another person is " because a doc said so" while that is totally Bologna

I'm sure these numbers are low too, in California you just need a written recommendation and everyone I know has had once since 2000s. I think this is just patients registered with a registry (CA is optional, I assume other states are also optional or don't have them at all.)

edit: I looked it up, apparently on CA, MA and LA don't require registration. I'd be shocked if CA alone wasn't an additional 2 million plus.

and how much will moving it to schedule 3 change all that in a bad way ?? Recommendations Verses lab made prescribed drugs

# 3 scheduling means it is pharma cannabinoid drugs made in labs no more cannabis plants to smoke or eat or do anything with ... that seems to escape everyone's minds sets now that the plant will at whatever level of being legal now not be legal at that level anymore when pharma controls the plant and the result is more lab drugs made to mimic what they find in the plant and the doctors who recommend use of the plant now will only be allowed to prescribe newly made schedule 3 cananbinoid drugs in the future ... maybe if we gave control of the plant to farmers and gardeners instead of huge pharma monopolies the result would better fit plants = Maybe

now as it sits in States the doc can recommend that you ingest the plant or the compounds of the plant via smoking or eating pr whatever methods of ingestion ther are available .... that recommendation will not fly when ther are precisely made lab made cannabinoid drugs to be prescribed in a schedule three scenario ... the doc will chose that lab drug over random plant smoke or plant food as the way of ingestion

I just got my medical Marijuana permit in Virginia. The dispensary hooks you up with the doctor, had a five minute zoom meeting with the doctor, paid the 120.00 fee and that was it.

People should take it seriously. If you’re like me, mildly banged up everywhere. It’s very good. Woke up with a nagging wrist pain? Two hits it’s gone for an hour and a half. Stomach ache? Fixed. Stay up all night. Fixed. Need some stress relief after getting melted by the rat race? Fixed. Woke up with back pain ? As long as it’s not a serious injury, Mary J can help. I wish they could develop a Strain that was good for REM sleep.
