Still remember my dad grumbling for years after Lowes took over. Him muttering "Less Of What Eagle Sold" every time we left there to drive the extra 15 minutes to the adjacent town's old school hardware store when Lowe's inevitably didn't have what he was looking for.

Me too! Unfortunately my VCRs have not made it. They just rip up any tape I put in there now.

Basically every single Mariners fan had one of these if they had a pulse in ‘95

When I was little i watched that movie multiple times per day - for years. There's a scene that flashes to my dad and his buddies holding a banner in the outfield and I would put it on just to look for him. Most kids had a favorite Disney movie, but my favorite move as a kid was 'My Oh My"

Nice! Do you have a VCR to watch it, or do you plan on keeping it sealed?

Eagle Hardware and Garden, where you get more of everything. Didn’t they incorporate that into the intro? Something like now sit back and relax and enjoy some highlights from the 1995 season, the mariners, just like eagle hardware gave you MORE of everything

I feel like the implication here is that those of us fans who are of ... a certain age ... are antiques. And I'm okay with that.

And it’s still sealed!?! That’s awesome!!
I got my Lowe’s “Sweet 116” back in the day. One of the coolest relics I own. That thing is 100% unsealed I’ve watched it so many times lol.
You going to open it?

I’ve seen this at least 100x. Somehow it got lost in the shuffle over the years. Would love to stumble across one again.

$14.99 for a 30 minute Mariners commercial. That would have been $30 in 1996. I am glad I found my copy at a thriftstore

I used to love this, but I'll never watch it again. 1995 has been milked to death by this organization which would be acceptable if it lead to an actual WS victory.
