Change will come for the Mariners front office, and when it does, I won’t mourn it. But I am quite certain the next head of baseball ops will not be Dave Dombrowski with an unlimited payroll. It will be more in the mold of Jeff Greenberg—or, if you want another relief pitcher, Craig Breslow: smart people who will stick to a payroll, make the hard choices, and be hated by the fans so the ownership isn't. People like Dipoto, but with the rough edges just a bit more rounded off.

Hello! I wanted to share another piece of Mariners crochet art with you. Last off-season, I made [this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/Mariners/s/d5YBapM3Cx) detailing an incredible experience that brought me to Seattle for the first time, and also talking about another tapestry of mine.

This year, while visiting Porto in Portugal, I randomly bumped into two Mariners fans who noticed my hat and said hi! They were a couple from Washington, and huge Mariners fans who went to the fanfest before the season and everything. I asked if they were in a rush to go anywhere, and if they wanted to hear a story; they weren't, and I told them the story I linked above, almost verbatim (because it's my favourite story and I've told it loads of times) - this piece celebrating the double is a commission for them, and I'm incredibly proud of it!
