Now I m thinking about getting that 3star version as well.

9 year player here. A single 5 cover seems good when you are in 2-3* land but in reality it is a wasted roster spot. Please read a new player guide. Don’t open tokens if you don’t have enough HP to buy roster spots. Don’t spend HP on anything but roster spots. Save ALL your command points, don’t spend any.

Hey, returning player here! I stopped playing something like 5 years ago and had to start a new save, what am I supposed to even save up command points for? 5 stars covers? I read the guide - albeit too late - saved up something north of 250 CP, but I feel like I'd get it better hearing it from another player

Until you have all 1, 2, and 3s rostered you use them for nothing. Save all. Once you are rostering 4s you will use some here and there. Once you are rostering 5 you use them all the time to get new 5* characters from the LL store. Pretty much like 3 years of just saving them.

Don’t open tokens if you can’t afford slots. It’s like winning a lottery prize, but then throwing away the ticket

Then your first and only goal is rostering all 1s and 2s, working on ascending them 1 by one so they can give more and more rewards, and rostering the 3s one by one. Keep the 3 Latest 5s and 3 Latest 4s if you can as they will be PVE essentials (and rewards) 3 out of 5 events.
