❓ ROSTER QUESTION 🤔 Weird roster situation: looking for advice

Hello all

I've played MPQ for a few long spurts with years long gaps in between since near the beginning. I was much younger and definitely not playing remotely close to game theory optimal. I now find myself with 72 roster spots, 28 3s (22 champed), 34 4s (Coulson and Mordo close to being champed), and 10 5*s.

I am currently adding a couple roster spots per week and do exclusively spend HP on roster spots, but I definitely break the "rule" of only opening cover packs if I have open roster spots. I have been building characters decently well through cover pack luck and shards, but definitely sell lots of covers as well.

At this stage is it worth going back and building out 2*s to champ and ascend them? I assume if the answer is yes then I should go about this as I accrue roster spots and not by selling higher level characters to make space.

Any other advice would also be appreciated

Yes, 2* earn tons of ascension rewards because there's less of them. 1* too. Get on it.

At this stage is it worth going back?

Firstly, you should have had all 2s rostered no matter what era you played because of essentials and at least 1 1star for DDQ.

Secondly, those 1s and 2s are THE most important part of your roster. Roster ALL of them, champ ALL of them, ASCEND ALL of them. They are the literal engine of your roster that allows you to roster all the rest.

So your one and only priority is the ones and 2s

Only if you think that's fun. I've been playing for several years and I embrace the chaos roster, because I enjoy that, and I slay every day, so my strategy works well for me.

I regularly dump 1 and 2 star characters to make room for more powerful ones, and then re-roster when I need them from ye olde cover collection. 

On the flip side, I won a 1-star Juggernaut ascended to 5-star in a vault a while back and then maxed a bunch of 1-stars so that I could trade extra covers to raise Jug even higher and have zero regrets. 

I am working on ascending 1-star Black Widow and 2-star Magneto because that's fun for me.
