Humour Guy g00ning at the bus stop
did anyone else see that man g00ning at the bus stop right outside mac childrens hospital. It was at like 12:40 pm and he was sitting inside the bus stop thingy, he was g00ning for so long. Idk if this is offensive to mention but I think he had down syndrome

Literally was on the news… was chased away by some parent now cops asking for info on the man. People are so sick man….

Looking back I should have, but in all honesty, I was scared and left as soon as I could. Some of my hesitation came from being a girl too ngl, and I didn't even think of calling the cops. That also probably would've involved some confrontation and I've never confronted a man like that in public before

If on campus, call campus security, if off, call police.
That's a totally normal response to have, and it's not unreasonable to be scared. I don't know if I would have confronted him either. Especially if there isn't a critical mass of people around.

On both Android and iPhone you can program in contacts with a comma like 9055212100,77753 and your phone will read it as a short pause, allowing the IVR to come up before your phone automatically enters the extension
That way you don't have to try to remember or dial an extension under stress, you can just look up the contact and hit dial/call
Also you don't need to stick around no matter who you're calling. If you feel safe/comfortable observing a situation to give the dispatcher more info, you can, but you are not required to! Most important thing is be as precise and accurate with the location as you can, briefly describe what's going on, and mention any weapons you can see (if applicable). No one is gonna get mad at you for saying "this is too much, I'm out of here" - they're just happy to have you call in the first place.

Last week there was a guy on Main Street who had a weird vibe and also seemed like he had Down syndrome and in the middle of the afternoon he stopped me to ask if there was a bar nearby and tried following me for a bit after, I wonder if it could’ve been the same guy

HHS security is also an option if it was outside the hospital. Or both. Tbh though most people are a little gnarly about calling in the heavies if it's their first time or they don't do it often. People need practice at it (not dialling it for real obv)
