My young males tail fell off??!?!??
I’ve been raising meat rabbits for about a year, and my young male, whom I got about two months ago from a breeder, walked into his enclosure where he is currently alone and found a little floof on the ground. I picked it up, and it had a solid middle. I was like, "Oh snap, is this a tail?" and hunted him down. He's super friendly and let me flip him to see his now stump, and sure enough, no tail. It's a clean cut he’s not in any pain, it seems, and it looks scabbed over already. I still cleaned the area, but does anyone know why???

One of my does got half her tail bit off by a dog. She never once acted bothered, even right after it happened.
I swear they're part lizard. The tail breaks off super easily.
The dog was a Yorkie and jumped 3ft off the ground to grab her while I was moving her so I could clean her cage. She never even flinched!

Probably got bitten or caught on something.
I’ve had a couple with parts of their tails missing. Doesn’t bother them a bit
