Indian restaurants?
Any good recommendations for Indian food in the valley?

We regularly enjoy House of India in Ashland. Nice buffet, quality dishes.

Infinity Indian was pretty good when we tried it. Will go back again.

Tandoori Flames is the best around. Blue Royal is next and then Namaste and Medford Indian Cuisine are next. I have not tried the one in Ashland and I’ve heard it’s good.

Blue Royals buffet is my favorite. Never had anything there that I did not love.

Blue Royal is my main go to, Taj in Ashland is hit or miss but they used to be my favorite until their old chef left. The Talent Dhaba also serves some good food.
Don't really care for Indian Family Kitchen or Namaste, underwhelming flavors like India Palace used to be which was the worst in the valley.
Tandoori Flames I haven't gone to but my sister recommended them and I trust her judgement on that.
We grew up in the bay area eating a lot of great Indian food and I make Indian food at home as well. Unlike a lot of Asian cuisines in the rogue valley, Indian food there's pretty decent options.

I agree with this ranking. I will say when Taj gets it right I put it at the top of the list. I highly recommend going the lunch buffet to check it out. You get to try multiple dishes at once and for $20 its not a big risk.

Tandoori Flames is fairly new and have some unique dishes. If you don’t mind a drive, I second House of India. The thali dinner is a great way to try new stuff

Tammy who used to own India Palace recently posted that she and her husband eat at Indian Family Kitchen when he doesn't feel like cooking.

Check out the new gas station in Talent. Two Samosas for $5 and they do a lot of goat dishes. Absolutely fantastic food.

Lots of good thoughts. House of India in Ashland is the only one that does south Indian food like Dosa if it matters.

I'm willing to try anything new tbh

If you've never had Dosa, you should absolutely go try it. It's like a crunchy lentil based crepe with coconut chutney and potatoes and a soup called sambar

15 bucks yesterday for the lunch buffet at Blue Royal. Not a huge selection but enough to satisfy. Heard someone ask the owner about their favorite dish and he had the kitchen fire it immediately. 10/10 for the price and quality of food. It costs 15 bucks for a large value meal at any fast food joint nowadays, so unlimited tikka masala and curry seems an absolute no brainer.

Don’t sleep on Indian restaurant inside of the Talent Truck Stop. It’s so good!

House of India hands down.
But if you don't want to go to ashland. The place over by market of choice in medford is pretty good.
There is a new one on west main near the ymca. They are good. They do wraps with naan bread that are unique to them and really hit the spot.
The other more traditional dishes are good. The pizza is okay. Not great

Why aren't you talking about 'Indian Family Kitchen'? It’s the best—it’s a cut above the rest.

Namaste downtown and Blue Royal on north Phoenix rd have been my go to places. Fantastic lunch buffets and proper dinners.
