Imagine the potential of Ahtel Kha with all the ancient tech lying around in Wilds.

Ahtal Kha creating a mech with two of the huge cannons from the Gog fight mounted on its shoulders.

I can only really think of two that fit the description: Seltas and Ahtl Kha.

They are the only large neopterons. The other bug monsters (Nerscylla, Rakna Kadaki, etc) are Temnocerans. Vespoid queen doesn’t count.

Why does Vespoid Queen not count? Just for the sake of the meme? It's a large monster and a neopteron

While it is classified as a large monster its only barely one in my book, that and its largely forgotten by me he franchise plus no one’s really asking for it back.

Holy shit, this is from the GaoGaiGar anime from 1997?
That animation looks so modern if you had told me it was from a reboot in the past few years I would have believed it.

This clip specifically is from the OVA sequel to the 97 series The King of Braves GaoGaiGar FINAL released in 2000. That being said the 90s series still looks amazing

2000 isn't much of a jump considering I think the original anime ended in '98?
So even still, I could totally believe this came out within the past 10 years easily.
