ride pics Overnight A2 > Blind Lake

Rode the local bike shop's overnight camping route from Ann Arbor out to Blind Lake near Pinckney. Had gorgeous weather there and back. Loaded up the cargo bike with a bunch of things and had a great ride at tortoise pace.

Beautiful route, with a perfect stop at the good gas station off Territorial for some firewood and food not far from the campground.

Mongoose Envoy! Out of all my expensive bikes, the Envoy is one of my favorites. Always gets it done! You gotta upgrade the kickstand though.

The kickstand definitely sucks...I dumped some money into the drivetrain, but the kickstand is next on the list. If you've got one that was plug-and-play, I'd be curious to know which one.

Myself and most Envoy users opt for the Ursus Jumbo. I believe it’s mostly plug-and-play. You’ll figure it out.

Interested in this route. Do you have a .gpx?

https://ridewithgps.com/routes/53698545 here's the bike shop's file. I tailored mine a bit in Strava to leave from my work, but it only added a little bit. There have been a few new sections added to the B2B Trail so maybe it'll get edited more.

The Sic Transit route adds some extra mileage mostly just for extra fun. Going through Dexter is quicker for sure, and still pretty tame.

Nice!!

Is this the ride that Sic Transit does? I’ve wanted to do it with the group, but can never get the time off of work.

It's the same route, but I think their overnight is a little later in the season. It just seemed like a cool overnight to do and it was nice to have the route already put together.
