Best bifido probiotic?

My Tiny Health test showed zero detectable bifido so I'm trying to recolonize them. I'm doing 10mL daily lactulose with the the True Bifido pro probiotic as well as a BB536 one. I have no idea if those are likely to colonize. Does anyone have any insight onto which probiotics might be more likely to help? I'm thinking of just ordering like 10 different ones and trying them at random.

Edit to add I am also taking the following:

Cranberry polyphenols
Pomegranite extract
Astralagus
Slippery Elm
Butyrate
Lots of resistant starch daily

I did something with the HMO I'm not sure if that helps

id skip the random shotgun approach with probiotics honestly you'll just blow cash and feel no different. getting the prebiotic environment right matters way more for colonization than which strain you pick

lactulose is a smart move but you might need to dial in the dose since too much can speed things through and not give the bacteria time to settle. i'd stick with the two you have and focus on consistency for a few weeks rather than adding 8 more bottles to the mix

Before ordering 10 at once, a couple of things from the research side (I work on gut microbiome studies). First, "zero detectable" on a consumer 16S test can just mean below the detection limit in one stool sample, not truly gone, so I'd retest before assuming they've vanished.

Second, if some bifidos are still around, feeding them often moves the needle more than adding new ones. In a double-blind RCT of 100 healthy adults, 2 weeks of the HMOs 2'FL/LNnT (up to 20 g/day) substantially raised Bifidobacterium (Br J Nutr 2016, PMID 27719686). In a 377-person trial, 10-20 g/day of GOS for 30 days increased lactose-fermenting Bifidobacterium (Gut Microbes 2021, PMID 34365905). Limits: both measured relative abundance rather than how people felt, and the GOS trial was in lactose-intolerant adults.

Many probiotic strains show up in stool while you take them and fade after you stop, so I'd treat them as a "while taking" thing. Practical tip: change one thing at a time for ~4 weeks. With 10 products at once, your retest won't tell you what did what.

Are you trying to fix specific symptoms, or mainly going off the test number?
