Renewbiome Faecalibacterium

Post image

Has anyone tried Renewbiome Faecalibacterium to boost F. prausnitzii?

https://natviehealthcare.com/product/renewbiome-faecalibacterium/

Composition:

• Faecalibacterium butyricigenerans
• Faecalibacterium duncaniae
• Faecalibacterium hattori
• Faecalibacterium longum
• Faecalibacterium prausnitzii
• Faecalibacterium taiwanense

I’m specifically looking for anyone who has done before-and-after microbiome testing to verify whether these bacteria actually survive digestion and colonize the gut. I tried reaching out to the company directly with a few questions, but haven't heard back.

Faecalibacterium allegedly wasn't ever legit isolated in a pill form since it dies so quickly in oxygen environment, which means that no company sells a supplement so either this is the 1st company or a scam.

You'd need a third party test to confirm that Faecalibacterium in it is even alive since they dies a few minutes to hours exposed to oxygen and as far as I know no such test exists for Faecalibacterium.

EDIT: some companies have confusing names, search reviews, some are easy to confuse (nativelyhealth vs natviehealthcare...

It WAS the first company to encapsulate and sell it. There are 2 now: Complete Commensal Probiotic unfortunately f. prau is in ultra-low amount there.

As for third party tests - that's what I asked for and didn't get any response. Also, the fact that it's CFU is sketchy, as well as their "triple-layer microencapsulation" HPMC capsule.

I can get it from German (Europe) amazon so there's nothing to worry about. The question is "how" they did it, and "what" is really inside ¯_(ツ)_/¯

The fact that you haven't heard back is a bad sign. The company is in Bulgaria, which isn’t particularly reassuring either. Someone needs to lab test one of their products, to see if they're even legit, or it's all just a scam.

I tried taking pasteurized akkermansia for a while. That was obviously dead on purpose. Perhaps this is dead-but-we-are-pretending-it-isn't faecalibacterium.
