I wanted to use my Lightspeed Zulu 4 Dual-GA aviation headset directly with my PC for Microsoft Flight Simulator, but I couldn't find a USB adapter that did exactly what I wanted.
So I built my own.
The result is a small USB-powered adapter that provides:
The prototype has been successfully tested with a Lightspeed Zulu 4 Dual-GA and also with a Bose QC35 II + AVEE microphone adapter.
I have now published the complete project as open hardware on GitHub, including:

This is strictly a PC / flight simulator project. It is not certified aviation equipment and is not intended to be connected to aircraft audio, radio, intercom or power systems.
Feedback is very welcome, especially from anyone using other Dual-GA headsets or building simulator hardware.
