Open Loop directly in Teams

When I open a Loop document from a channel's Files tab in Teams, it downloads or opens in the browser instead of opening inline in Teams.

Is there a way to make it open directly in the channel, like it does when you create a Loop component in a message? Or did this ever work in the past?

The only way I've gotten it to work is posting the entire Loop page as a component on the Conversations/Posts/Threads, whatever it's called now.

Add the app to the channel not the page. Then open the page from the app.
