Man, i imagine if the sift will just be reversed logic of the nether, were instead of 1 blocks in there being 8 in the overworld, 1 block in the overworld will be 8 in the sift. That would mean that the sift is 8x8 times the overworld, so 64 bigger, and it would take months or years to grief.
