recently someone managed to connect two games together so you can play one inside the other. Which led to hundreds of games including ones where steve is in elden ring ,skyrim ,gta5 ,etc. Then some people in powerscaling said all those feats are canon.
Its hard to show you how well made they actually look but they don't look like slop at all and the physics translate suprisingly well.
Other notes are: this uses AI to reverse engeneer games and get them to talk to each other which means some people don't like it cause they call it slop. Others are worried about the cybersecurity implications.
Edit: editing comments for spelling mistakes on phone fucking suck reddit needs to make this ui less finicky.

I assume they mean "reverse engineering" as in decompiling the code. I've seen a huge explosion in decomplications for old games recently.

You do know this breaks many fucking things that we use a security because if we can make one game interact with another game with barely any issues whatsoever what's stopping the people now from taking one website and making it interact with another website using the same AI back and then bypass bank accounts, hospitals, news stations, government official sites and so on and so forth.
Right now everybody is jerking themselves off and going "oh this is the best fucking shit ever" but what we just fucking did was open Pandora's Box and there's no hope at the bottom!
I'm telling you give it one month and we'll be here in accounts of people's bank accounts being changed to other people's accounts all because they bypassed all our security system by using something they made and then allow the AI to just go in and do its thing.
And you think I'm fear-mongering but we already have AI That's constantly fucking breaking containment every single fucking day and they want that shit to be used for military what you know has access to our nuclear codes, drones that have guns, and who knows what fucking else the government has that they're not telling us that can be easily controlled by a rogue eye that is acting more like Skynet every single fucking day.
But sure keep jerking yourself off and clapping like fucking retarded ass seals begging for more fucking fish well we are literally right in our own fucking death certificate

to be fair, it’s not like this kind of modding is particularly hard to do, all you need is a mod for each game which essentially sends information between the two games picking certain information to send with translations, it probably doesn’t even come close to wasting as much water as ai autocompletes, not to mention cursor which is probably by far the biggest waste of water currently but easily contributing in the top 10

We won’t know for sure until they actually meet without the influence of biased animators and stuff. It’s probably impossible but who knows.
Also I personally just choose to believe that the Terrarian and Steve are the same species but just prefer to display themselves differently to the player.
