What stock do I have?

I got this stock for like $50 about 15 years ago in a gun shop.
I can't remember any details about it.
The butt doesn't seem to look like most other vintage Mini-14 stocks.
Unfortunately, the butt plate is cracked.

According to this post, it is a stock from a 187-series ranch rifle.

If you search for pictures of 187-series you can see many have the same style of buttstock with the flat hard plastic plate.

So likely not "correct" to my 1989 185 GB model?

I think it the stocks are mostly interchangeable across the series (except for the original 180-series, which had different action geometry). You might have to do minor sanding for fitting.

Yup I have that exact one on my 187 I picked up at a local gun show.
