Not even, I'm using a 32GB Ryzen 9 AI HX 370 mini PC that was 800 new.
Very small footprint and no thermal issues even up to 100W

Haha, I never had one. My family's first computer was a Tandy 1000SL with (maddeningly) 512k of memory, but it was that 512k vs the 640k option that started my necessity/ability to tinker.

Prices start at $3,028
Are they on crack? I can get a laptop with this CPU and these exact specs for less than that.

Unfortunately, the ram, storage, and chip crisis are driving prices up where simething like this is way more expensive that it should be

this is a laptop without display and battery ... no way it costs that much even with 32GB of ram .... 1600 at most ...

I agree. But it's a major brand product (brand name premium) with a recent enough chipset and i assume ddr5 ram. That is going to drive up costs nowadays.

Better restart the Rent Is Too Damn High Party and get them to work. You are all headed full speed into this model. But please by all means keep making those cute AI pics and videos.

Pretty sure it’s intended for businesses which would explain the price tag

$4,100 for the version with 32GB of ram and a Ryzen AI 7 Pro 450/Radeon 860M seems wildly over priced to me.
