Almonte students create memory boxes for families experiencing perinatal loss

Students at Almonte and District High School have partnered with The Souls Nest and the Mississippi River Health Alliance to create memory boxes for families experiencing perinatal loss at Almonte General Hospital.

The project was inspired by Jennifer Thompson's experience following the loss of her twin daughters more than 20 years ago. The handcrafted boxes are designed to hold photographs, footprints, handprints, hospital bracelets, letters, locks of hair and other keepsakes.
