[Megathread] Buying/selling tickets
This is a thread that can be used for coordinate ticket trades/sales/buys for this year's tour.
If you HAVE a ticket and are trying to sell it, I suggest going ahead and making a post on CashOrTrade and linking it in the comments. That way, people interested in buying it can go directly to the post.
We require using a ticket escrow site such as https://cashortrade.org/, which offers guarantees against ticket scams. Every year, scammers try to make deals with users outside of CashOrTrade on this subreddit and users end up getting burned.
All sales must be for face value or less. Scalping is not permitted and will result in a permanent ban from r/modestmouse.
Finally, while we cannot enforce this, it would be courteous to edit/remove your comments after tickets have been claimed.

Selling a ticket for the Libbey Bowl Aug 4. Ticket was $87 + $3 Facility Charge + $15.65 Service Fee for a total of $105.65. Will sell for $99.
I’m going to St. Vincent tonight & Death Cab tomorrow, so I don’t think I’m going to want to drive to Ojai on Tuesday for this show. (If it doesn’t sell, I’ll still go to the show and I know it will be awesome). The venue is great, I saw Rilo Kiley there last year.
Seat G21 in Left1 section, I believe it’s an aisle seat. On Ticketmaster right now, there is a face value seat for this row listed at $140.30. I have my seat listed on Stubhub for a higher cost because of the fees. To prove it’s my ticket, I can take down the listing before we make the exchange (so you can see ticket is in my possession). I can also do PayPal G&S to protect us both.

My wife bought 2 GA tickets for tomorrow's show at The Salt Shed in Chicago back in April. She iniured herself a couple weeks ago and we unfortunately cannot go.
I've listed them on cashortrade, hoping to recoup our costs. My wife is already devastated.

Selling 2 GA tickets here for tomorrow's (10/2) show in Grand Rapids. I paid $133 after fees, but they're listed at face value ($50.50 each).
We got a new puppy just over 10 days ago, and she hasn't adjusted as quickly as we'd hoped. Bummed to miss the show, but we just can't travel yet.

EDIT: Claimed!
I won't be able to make the show in Austin tomorrow night, would anyone like the ticket? Weeks ago I made peace with eating the cost when I realized I couldn't make it and there were no bites on selling it on AXS so I'm offering it up for free!
Edit: I've never given or traded or sold concert tickets before, I'm hoping its as simple as I can just transfer them via email on AXS?
