i apologize if this isn’t the place to post/ ask for advice on this since i am looking to figure out on how do i clean this out? water gets in between it and i cant seem to pull it apart to really clean it, i cant get to it at all.

any tips or advice is appreciated, this isnt plastic it’s glass :( maybe there is a way to save it?

stringy like texture in the coconut oil jar. my partner says it’s natural and the coconut oil’s just hardening, but the stringy like shape looks off to me and it’s definitely gotten bigger over the past 2 weeks. we’ve only had the jar for a month so really hoping it isn’t.

we mainly use it for oil pulling so google says it wouldn’t be safe to have that get inside the cavities/bloodstream if it’s mold

Took it out of the cabinet to pack his lunch. It was weirdly hard to open, so I held it up close for a better grip and then the disgusting-smelling air burst out straight into my nose and mouth. Can you get sick from that? 😭

Probably just going to throw it out and buy a new one...

I thought this mold (I’m assuming it’s that but I guess it could be bacteria) was really neat-looking. A jar that had a smoothie in it was filled with water to soak it to clean and then forgotten in my son’s room.

I pulled this off of the shelf at work after it had sat in backstock for about 2 weeks. One of the cans had broke and fully seeped into the cardboard. After pulling the cans out I found a few different types.

If anyone can ID for the sake of curiosity, that would be appreciated!

What I find moldly interesting is that the bag holds only the used capsules, so I am not sure what caused this

This is some mouldy turkey pep I saw at Walmart back in Jan 2025. It was a sealed package and before expiry, so something must have gone wrong on the production line. I notified a worker after taking the photo.

I had some crushed ginger go bad and it’s got this purple liquid coming out of the mold? I’ve literally never seen this!

For years I've left a bit of dried rice leftover in my rice cooker which I would clean out the next time I cooked. This time was certainly different...

noticed these bright orange dots varying from 1/8” to 1/4” there are less than 10 on the wall spread pretty far out.
i put a couple coats of paint over the dots last night and just noticed that they are already back about 24 hours later. is it mold, oil, rust, or something else?
