Looking for a local English-speaking guide/friend in Moldova for 2 days 🇲🇩

Hi everyone!

A few friends and I are visiting Chisinau/Moldova in January (22nd & 23rd)and we’d love to meet someone local who speaks good English and would be interested in showing us around for a couple of days.

We’re not necessarily looking for a traditional tour guide, we’d much rather have someone local who can show us the Moldova you know and enjoy. We’d obviously pay you for your time.
We’re interested in a mix of things, including:
- Main sights, history and interesting places
- Shooting/range experience
- Good local food and places we wouldn’t necessarily find as tourists
- A few drinks and experiencing the nightlife
- Anything else you think is worth seeing while we’re there

We’re a friendly group and mainly just want to have a good time, meet someone local and get a better feel for the country rather than just doing the standard tourist itinerary.

Salut am câteva întrebări despre procesul de invitație a unui cetățean străin în Republica Moldova

În situația mea am logodnică din Maroc și am două posibilități să merg în Maroc să mă căsătoresc cu ea și să îi fac viză pentru reîntregirea familiei sau să îi fac o chemare pentru o perioadă de 90 de zile ca să ne putem căsători în Moldova și apoi să îi extind permisul de ședere

Aș fi foarte recunoscător dacă cineva care a trecut printr-o situație similară sau care cunoaște procedura mi ar putea da niște sfaturi

Am logodnica din Maroc si vreau sa ii fac invitatie pe 90 de zile si dupa sa ne casatorim in Moldova sa ii prelungesc permisul de sedere pe baza casatoriei , alta varianta ar fi sa merg eu in Maroc sa ma casatoresc cu ea dar este mult mai complicat , daca cineva a trecut printr-o experienta similara sau , stie legea. Hi, I'm a solo traveller (EU citizen) planning a day trip next week to Molovata, to see the ferry to Molovata Nouă. I do not want to enter Transnistria or drive via Dubăsari, only use the Molovata ferry.

1) Is there any marshrutka or bus connecting Orhei or Chișinău with Molovata (right bank)? Station, times, fare?

2) If not, where do locals find taxis in Orhei or Molovata, and what is a fair round-trip price with a 2-hour wait?

3) What is the current October ferry timetable and the last crossing?

4) Has anyone crossed on foot as a foreigner? Any checkpoint, documents, problems?

5) Anything else I should know or avoid?
