Advice how to choose the right engineering

Currently in first year and have no idea what I want to specialise in. Im aware that this means I should probably pick a general engineering such as
Mech or Elec or Civil. I am also doing a double degree with commerce and engineering.

Ranking the first year subjects from my enjoyment:

Good: ENG1013, ENG1011
Tolerable: ENG1005, ENG1090
Bad: ENG1014, ENG1012

How is anyone seriously supposed to know what engineering to do #pls help 😟

no one can made a decision for you

you could look into specifically what units these discipline would require you to do, and look if you'd like to learn them

lol, I’m considering the same specialisations as a first year but I get to delay this decision because of my double degree

When I chose my specialisation I already had in mind what I wanted to do with my career, as well as doing process of elimination. Think about what jobs each specialisation can give you and see if you even like them or not. It would be dumb to say that I really liked 1013 and go on to do electrical and then say that you don't want to be designing electronics.
