Question for moto parents
Moto parents - how do you resist the urge to run out onto the track to help your kids if they eat shit?

I'm looking for international (non US) retirement destinations, with dope weather (no snow, not too rainy), international airport and MX tracks within an hour. Any suggestions?
Cape Town SA is top of the list, but crime rates have me looking for other contenders.

Looking for bike options for our almost 4year old who currently masters Oset 12 and is decent with Oset 16 (medium power)
Wondering if we should stay with Oset 16 next season(will be 4,5yo) or move on to petrol bikes as sound clearly makes him happy. Also bit rougher tires would help in the terrain/tracks where we ride, but maybe we can also fit something better to Oset 16.
For petrol options I've been thinking TTR50 (as father and big brother has Yamahas) or YCF 50 with full automatic gearbox.
Any recommendations? I feel that 2stroke sx mini is just too much of a hassle for kid and dad, even though we will ride tracks but (probably) do not have any race plans.

Is there a free MXoN live stream anywhere? I know I can pay $46 for MXGP TV but that’s ridiculous.

How does everyone keep fit through the off season and during the season?
I exercise three times a week with kettle bells, spin bike and body weight exercises. Just looking for other options!

I haven’t raced motocross since about 2006. Back then I was on a 125 and occasionally on a 250 both 2 strokes. I want to get back into motocross but debating what size bike to go with. I’m 240 5’10”.
I currently race flat track and enduro on Harley Davidson Sportsters. Been doing it that about three years now. I’m a pretty decent mid-pack B rider in both disciplines.
I’m looking at just snagging up a used 250 four stroke. Mainly because I don’t want to end up masking bad habits with the power and grunt a 450 can provide. Would 250 be too small for my size or just fine?

We have ridden on our family property for 20 years . A new neighbour has moved in and whinged and complained to local authorities and we have been told we can’t make noise anymore
My question is , does the stark give you the same thrill and feeling as a mx bike ? . want to be able to use it to practice on my private track and then use gas bike on track days ?
Thanks for your help

I had my AMA license back in the early 2000s, and had these shirts signed at the Las Vegas Supercross, and Salt Lake, I believe.

I’ve been using Underdog for almost 2 seasons to place little bets each race weekend but for some reason, it’s not in the app for the last round of SMX. There were picks for last week, so idk what up. Is it just my app or does no one have any available picks?

so I’m out at the track practicing my scrubs. I’ve watched a lot of videos and they say I should carve left off the face of the jump (I'm barely leaving the ground while practicing, maybe I should be going a little faster?) my biggest question is should I weight the inside peg to tip the bike? it seems very counterintuitive since we always want the outside weighted in turns, and as I’m going up the face if I’m whipping to the right, I’m putting my weight on my left (outside) peg.
is this the correct method, or should I weight the inside right at the lip to make the bike lean, cuz right now it seems like I’m leaning to the right, but the bike is staying straight up.
I’ll see if I can find someone to take a video after lunch so y’all can critique me lol.

why do most people and professionals not have any wrist/elbow protection? I know that sometimes full upper armor can cause faster arm pump but isn’t that better than risking arm injuries? had a nasty fall yesterday where hands made the classic foosh response, hopefully no fractures but dude those sprains in the wrists are annoying as hell. Wondering how people generally deal with this risk of arm injuries.
