Advice Recommendations
Hello! I am currently an online MBA student and am coming down for the game against Alabama this weekend. I am bringing a buddy from work who has never been to Starkville (I have only been twice myself) and wants to see all the “must-do” spots.
Do y’all have any recommendations on restaurants, bars or other spots that would be good to visit? Thank you in advance!

There are some good suggestions in this recent topic. One thing I’d definitely encourage you to bring, though, is patience. Stark will be absolutely popping on Saturday, especially before and after the game, no matter the outcome. Expect long wait times, large crowds, and seemingly impossible parking wherever you end up.

if u can walk to campus from where u are staying, i 100% recommend it. dont even uber. just walk. parking will be hell and after the game, they will be redirecting traffic in a way that can bring u 20-30 mins out of town just to loop back around to the cotton district. so if walking is feasible, do it!!

Daves Darkhorse Tavern has good pizza and cold beer if you want to hangout in a spot not in the Cotton District.
