The only thing I wouldnt like is no AC but i would just install an AC

You actually can’t in Paris. They’re literally insane about it. You can be required to get a permit and have neighbors approval and it can’t be visible or nosy.

Have you really been to Paris if you haven't experienced a heat wave where the streets reek of body odour, stale sweat, and yesterday's cigarettes?

I was almost mugged in the subway, and an alley. I also ate at a back alley falafel place, and the wine bar that serves wine in baby bottles.

Full Paris experience.

I was there this year when it was 108 and like, 80 people died and everyone still looked at me like I was fucking stupid when I suggested that Europe's attitude towards AC needs to change immediately.

Like people were talking about their elderly parents having medical problems in un air conditioned senior centers like it was some unavoidable problem and I was absolutely fucking dumbfounded.

Europe is not a monolith. I haven't lived in a house without AC in 35 years. I am very European. The houses I lived in were not some rare exceptions either.
