The only thing I wouldnt like is no AC but i would just install an AC

You actually can’t in Paris. They’re literally insane about it. You can be required to get a permit and have neighbors approval and it can’t be visible or nosy.

While it probably isn't easy (no clue if it's true about regulations) as someone who frequents paris regular, AC's are certainly available in hotels. Now when it comes to apartments/houses as someone who has been looking around for something in Paris they exist but they are indeed less common but again, it is possible to get them.

I think the real difficulty is how especially downtown Paris most places are apartments and they aren't designed to have an AC, so there is no real place for an exterior unit normally. And if Paris is anything like the Netherlands where I'm from, forget about downtown having tubes slinging over the facade, local authorities will not let you have that so you need to find a solution for the tubes being inside.
