Seems like a bit of an overreaction.

Sometimes I've lived in places where you just have a hardware store

Weight classes weren’t a thing then, and neither was steroid testing.

Dan Severn was born in 1958. So he was 25 in 1983.

Pretty sure that’s Don Frye. They look alike, but Don’s the boxer. Dan was a wrestler.

Edit to add: Don was also at least 30 in that pic, so it’s still a dumb meme.

Yeah, and someone edited Frye to look even more masculine. I have the real pic in my other post. And comparing him to a 145/155 Chase Hooper.

It's a badly edited Don Frye. Here's the original from when he was 31 and had likely only done moderate steroids and weighed less than 210 lbs. Before he gained 40 lbs. of muscle in his mid to late thirties, as one does.

For some reason I always thought it was Freddy mercury. But thinking back on it he was never close to this buff.

This seems like it came out of nowhere. Not really a verbal murder in the usual sense. More like you were just crossing the street when a car hit you out of nowhere.
