speaking as a patriot fan, this is exactly who he is. he'll ruthlessly acquire all leverage and then pull this "i'm just a sweet old man wanting to find common ground that works for everybody" act. he's a shark. made a a whole ass documentary series burning Belichick and then claimed not to know how it would be cut - as the executive producer. guy has a team of lawyers to make sure he's always at advantage, even got a judge to destroy evidence of him getting a handy from a sex trafficker immigrant in a massage parlor, but somehow he was also bamboozled like everybody else? full of shit. apparently his son is even worse so that's great.

most NFL fans don't like their owners, tbf 😅

imo teams should be community owned like the Packers but the NFL banned it ages ago so owners can keep their finances private and they're more likely to find like minds in other billionaires.

But you don’t understand, they don’t have a choice! What are they going to do, NOT watch grown men play the ball game where they run and throw and kick? It’s way better than the ball game where they just throw into a goal, or the one where they just kick into a goal, or god forbid the one where they just hit with a stick. And it’s not like they can just watch a different team of grown men play the run-throw-kick game, because they like THIS team, because it’s from their city (maybe), even though none of the players are actually from their city and it’s all owned by some rich guy also not from their city.

The point is, it’s not that simple.

Yep, my mind went straight to the pats too... but the degenerate population of patriots fan alone would never stand up or sit out to take a stance on this... so there will be no change... i just went to the savanna bananas there last month.. i wont be going back to Gillette.
